The sun is warmth, kindness, love, healing, and activation embodied in a ray of light. A ray of light that supports everyone and everything on this planet. The sun, oh so reliable, rises in the morning and sets at night giving us the gift of beautiful sunrises and sunsets. This gift is quite tangible, as we are often taken aback by the colors splashed into the sky. However, the biggest gift the sun provides is life. The sun gives our planet life; animals, plants, fungi, and ourselves rely on this essential energy source for the continuous flow of life.

So, how does consciously embracing the Sun affect us?
The sun provides nutrients to the body through exposure to the skin. The sun is not harmful but is a potent energy and medicine. Like anything, it would be wise not to overdo it and find a balance in your intake of the sun's energy. This energy source strengthens the immune system by enlivening our cells and feeding our body nutrients like vitamin D. The sun helps our cells become more active which helps with cell regeneration. However, if the wrong things are within the physical or subtle body the sun will help with this regeneration as well. This is how the sun can cause cancer in some cases. It is not the ray of light that creates the cancer, but the natural regenerative energy force interacting with toxic material within your body. If you are aware of potential cancer in your bloodline or toxicity within your body; then you can manage your sun intake and be more intentional on how you receive the sun's light.
The sun also holds codes of completion, these are the same codes that encourage a flower to bloom according to its DNA strand. It can do the same for us; activate our DNA strands so that we may bloom in ways we never thought possible. When we sunbathe, we are filling ourselves up with the suns energy, almost like we are a battery, and the sun is a FREE charging source. Just as the sun is light embodied, so are we...simply at a different ray or frequency. When we sunbathe the light from the sun begins to interact and empower our own energy. This energy contains our wisdom and potential and encourages it to rise closer to the surface and manifest into our physical body for use. This can include our physical, mental, emotional, or spiritual potential.
The sun can specifically activate our DNA strand codes for our light nature or spiritual nature when there is an especially strong solar flare heading toward Earth. This solar flare is almost like the sun sending its advice our way, and the codes will only be activated by those ready to receive the advice on an unconscious or conscious level. A spiritual activation usually only occurs if you are ready for one or already consciously tuned into the sun. The planet of course receives these activation codes, as Gaia is always taking in the sun's rays. The sun is both conscious and unconscious in its ways, like us all, it's part of a greater universe and creator. At the mercy of this creator, I'm not entirely sure if it has free will as we do...which seems to be a very human trait and ability. And so, I believe that these activations and signals that are sent out are divinely orchestrated.
Without the sun, there is no life and no growth of any kind. As integral as the air we breathe, the water we drink, and the earth we exist on. We NEED the sun, but now I feel is the time to be more conscious of how to connect with this life-giving source. So, in what ways can we push the boundaries of how we intake the sun? Becoming more intentional would be the first thing to do, making it a ceremony or ritual. While sunbathing creating an intention. Such as, I'm absorbing this ray of light for...immune system strength, toxicity cleansing, chakra activation, mental clarity, etc. And as you feel the warmth on your skin or see the light behind closed eyelids, imagine that intention is being soaked in.
Have fun and play with the sun. You don't have to be intentional every time you connect with the warmth and light. But if you find yourself sunbathing with nothing else to do, try and take a moment to imagine that the sun is embracing you to send you a gift.
And always saying thank you for the gifts given to you!
